Power outlet in the bed?

I didn't see a specific forum on the bed or anything like that and I've looked around but didn't see anything on this subject....my Sport-S came with one power outlet, which is in the back seat. I know that the Rubicon and some other models have a power outlet in the bed. How easy or hard is it to put one in afternarket? Is the wiring there, ready to plug one in? Or is there more to it than that? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

If you are looking to install the OEM outlet from the factory, it's a little more involved that just tapping into a 12volt line.


Look under the steering column, see if you have the factory power inverter. If you don't then you are SOL for the OEM option.
