I am currently trying to figure out a simple wooden rack system for storing just the front doors (stock) flat in the bed. I work 6 & 7 days per week , and when it’s too chilly out at 4:30am driving to work, but nice at 4:30pm… I’d like to pull the front doors and Freedom tops and cruise home 🤔
I’ll be interested in your solution. I sometimes use front soft doors for the same reason. If you can find some, they’re great for tossing in the back without worrying about damage to paint.

I’m thinking a PVC frame, with bars across to lay the doors on, with conduit foam around them. 🤔 some quick breakdown sections for the 2nd door to stack above the other.

For me, I’ll always have stock doors and probably just pull the fronts off, so this way they will be under the bed cover.

They’re pretty heavy. I think you’ll need. Way to prevent them from moving at all.

yeah, I will make a base that locates against the wheel wells 🤔 so it doesn’t slide, and then a ratchet strap across the stack to pull down on it.
Being the pavement princess that I am, I won’t be off-roading with doors off 🩷🥰🩷 just some highway cruising in nice weather

I think it’s a great idea that others will follow you on. Good luck with the project.
