Project Retro phase one complete

[Retro Bait]

17x8 wheel vintiques JW steelies with Kenda 10.50x35's. Installed a terraflex leveling kit this morning and got the new shoes installed. Tread sets even with edge of fender. I kinda like the tall skinny look on my max tow.

Going for a retro look. more to come. Got to get the new bumper painted this week. After that going to body match the fenders and top. The factory decals and logos are going away and have a leather interior to install.

I drove a 51' Willys wagon when I was in high school. Almost the same color with the requisite 80's white wagon wheels. Had a 327 chevy in it and was very quick to find weaknesses in the stock transmission.

Thanks, I may get one of those. After everything else is done I am going to turn my attention to those taillights. Looking at fabricating a new set with round lenses

Nice. I've been also looking at the J6 concept Kaiser Jeep lettering, but no luck so far. Not sure how long and how many that eBay seller has. I bought 2, one for future backup in case it fails later down the road.
