PSC hydro assist issue in gladiator JT

I recently installed PSC hydro assist on my jeep gladiator and when i lock my steeling wheel to make a reverse u turn my engine shuts down. Is that normal

also my turn radius is so bad after the installation. I cant even make a turn in 2 lane street

As far as the turning radius, PSC may have put a delrin bushing in the ram itself that limits ram travel. This is so the ram isn't trying to push past the steering stops in some shorter stroke applications. Have someone crank and hold the wheel while you see where the knuckle is in relation to the steering stops on the inner Cs. If the ram is limiting travel to the stops in both directions, you may need to check for that bushing in the ram.
That could also be your stalling issue if that is the case or it could be the pressure relief in the box and pump isn't set right and the pump is pulling the engine down so much that it's stalling the engine out. That seems kind of unlikely...but maybe something to consider.
