Nice! Those 8.1s were stout stock. That thing is going to be a monster. What transmission? Please don’t put a turbo 400 in it. I hate 3 speed autos. Manual would be amazing.

It's going to keep the 4L80 it has now unless someone else starts buying parts lol. But I hate manuals anyway.

Printed the first trial last night, mainly to make sure I got the angles, spacing, hole locations right.

Test fit, nailed it, so good to go with a real design.

Amazing the amount of weiners who just can't wait to ignore the words test fit and start yammering about laminar flow to show everyone how clever they are.

I direct them all to the STEP files, look forward to seeing all their designs :D

I’m super impressed. Of course it looks like the flow metric lines up for shit with the square hole thingamujigs.

Mr 2k per download was inspired to release his files open source, which is nice, because the Holley lid pattern is the piece of the puzzle I was missing.

So I'll have two, maybe three sets of runners, an 8.1, an 8.8, and perhaps an 8.8 with injector bungs.

Then squeeze the runners together so they fit within the Holley footprint, instead of hanging over like these do, and make the plenum bolt together fore/aft as well as the bolt on runners.

I'm, like 85% done with this.

Needs the runners hollowed out, and flanges made to have them be bolt on, needs the plenum divided to print in 2 and bolt together.

I'm more or less done with the project myself for the next 4-6 weeks.

Of all the stupid things to be stuck on, I can't get the cam out, because I can't get the crank pulley off lol.

Thinking I'll have to modify my Chrysler/LS three jaw deal as my best bet.

Haven't really decided on an order of operations here, but currently leaning towards having this drop in ready before I pull the 6.0
