Haven't really found a match yet, though.
All I find either have the $4,200 power roof - and by the pictures they appear to have black fabric? Weird- pictures don't seem to match the roof options they list.
Then one in IL says it has the roof, but it's all purple and you see no fabric at all.
Another says it's got the power sliding roof but it's only like a grand or so.
I wish they were not allowed to post any photo that was NOT THAT SPECIFIC vehicle.

The one at Benson has the Skytop power roof. The Skytop is black fabric, but it only shows from above. The sides look like the Freedom Top. The power roof is neat, but I would rather have a Freedom Top. With the list of options you are looking for, I doubt that you will be able to find a Wrangler in dealership inventory, hence my suggestion to order. Good luck in your Jeep quest.

I know you’re not wanting a 392 but Dan cummins in Paris, KY has a 392 AEV JL370 in reign. It’s stunning…so is the price tag at $116K!! I’ve seen it in person.

The one at Benson has the Skytop power roof. The Skytop is black fabric, but it only shows from above. The sides look like the Freedom Top. The power roof is neat, but I would rather have a Freedom Top. With the list of options you are looking for, I doubt that you will be able to find a Wrangler in dealership inventory, hence my suggestion to order. Good luck in your Jeep quest.

Can't order that color. Tried. The sales guy checked multiple ways. Limited edition, ordering closed for reign. So, it's find one on a dealer lot or in transit, or don't get one.

Knowing that top is fabric totally lets that out, then. No way, nope. Even the little Audi my son bought has a solid sliding "sky roof" that opens above front and back seats.
So that pretty much knocks out the ones I thought could be players.
Now I need to filter out any with that roof. That's just asking for leaks and troubles in our seasons, wear, damage, you name it.

I know what you mean about the soft tops. I have prepped a number of Wranglers with the Skytop, and although it is a more convenient way to open the top, I have my doubts about long term durability. Just seeing the same power roof technology on FIATs is enough to make me question how well it will hold up.

Well, that's definitely a non-player for us. No way. She asked "is there at least glass up there?"
No. It would be an instant oven. And give it a 6" very wet snow you have hundreds of pounds of snow on the roof. And I won't even think of what happens if you get it open and the electronics fail in a storm.......... can't get it closed. Nope. That cinches it. Looks like she's out of the game at this point.
There are no Wranglers out there without that top that has any options at all. Seems they skip the safety, skip the other beneficial packages and spend the 4 grand on a roof instead.
Can't get the electronics to make the safety package, gotta throw in something. Fabric roof instead of safety features. Or........ was it a supply issue for the hard top?

Seriously, I've looked at over 300 Wranglers on autotrader and other places, and not a one of them that has any decent options comes with the hard top. So it makes me wonder - was the hard top the thing that was actually in short supply??? Why are 3/4 of all Wranglers out there with this roof instead of the $2,000 cheaper hard top option?
Can't get the hard top! Shortage.

I ordered a Reign Sahara for my wife and we picked it up in October. Around the time most of them were being built was the same time Jeep was having trouble getting the chips or whatever for the Safety and Advanced Safety options. That might limit availability of those options on the used market.

And that apparently did limit what the dealers got.
Instead they got that big power roof- maybe there was a shortage of roofs, too as it's near impossible to find and with the 3 piece hard top.

Could you possibly buy one with the Skytop and then swap with someone else who wanted it and get their normal top ........assuming of course it's not a purple matched top . That would sure limit your pool of swapee's. Not ideal I know.
