Purpose of this hole in the weather floor mats?

Do not forget the rubber plug you remove from the metal floor now goes over the mat opening. Should have been instructions on all this with the mats if you ordered them separate or even with the vehicle build order unless the dealer threw them out.

My mats came with no instructions. I got mine from BAM

Do you have to remove the alongaited circle piece of carpet prior to installing?

You can cut it free on just one end and fold it under out if the way. Then, if you ever want to go back to just carpet, unfold it and you won't have a hole in the carpet.

You're supposed to remove the drain plugs from the floor, press in these mats (they will pop in like the drain plug) then install the drain plug into the mat.

Now you can drain the floor mat directly out side the vehicle
