Roof rack with solar panels are something I’m looking into as well.
The 200W panel I have on the Alu-Cab Contour Canopy seems to have dropped the temp in the cap a bit. It doesn’t shade the whole roof of the canopy, but probably 50% or more. I considered running one over the back half of the freedom top, but I don’t need the extra power capacity. I will probably just use that space for a rack.

I found an 80W panel that will fit onto one of the front freedom panels. I’d run 2 in series for 160w then maybe the Cascadia 90w for a little extra margin. Just have to remember where I found them at. I’d like to do the whole anels up front with a rack over the back half and maybe do a gear box or something on that section. Just can’t be too expensive of a box because I know it’s going to get ate up quick in SoCal sun. May just coat a cheaper box with some plastic coating of some sort as a sacrificial layer. Time will tell.
