Hey folks. Question for you.

I love my 2014 JKU but the biggest problem I have with it is that there is no secure storage for my 15" MacBook Pro when I have the top off.

In looking at all the pics, it appears that the under seat storage isn't wide enough to fit a laptop. Does anyone know if the storage behind the seat is big enough and secure enough to hold a 15" laptop?

Thanks.

I have not been to any of the shows but you maybe able to fit it behind the seat?? Maybe someone in the know could confirm that?

Jeep has done a great job on thoughtfulness with all the lock storage with the JT.

I've seen where if you don't get the subwoofer you get like a mesh holding storage area behind the seat. Don't know if it's big enough for a Mac book tho

For reference here is the back storage setup if you don't get the Bluetooth speaker and the subwoofer. The subwoofer side Is that mesh pouch and the bluetooth is the other side.

I don’t know for sure but I think it will fit. That said I don’t think any of the OEM locks will be the strongest locks around and using the seats as safe walls would give me concerns about a laptop.

I think it’s a nice move when running quick errands but I wouldn’t leave much behind the locked seats if I was parking downtown in any major city for very long.

You also get a mesh pocket on the driver side even if you get the subwoofer and the bluetooth speaker.

There should be plenty of room for a laptop, but, like homerun, I'm not sure how safe it would be even though it locks.

Thanks for the info folks. It does like like a laptop would fit back there. This would be mostly for a quick lockup because I need to stop at the store on the way home from work situation so I'm not concerned about it being extremely secure. Just secure enough to pick up some milk.

i bought this, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076ZQQTYR/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YRA1Q34/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
for my surface laptop 2.

LOVE IT, i'll probably stash it behind the seat if it fits, or else i'll just carry it into the store with me. I've done this at menards when i wanted to leave the car running, but couldn't lock it.
