Freedom panel storage bag question

I took the panels off my and put them in the bag but I couldn't figure out what the 2 rubber blocks that are that are on the outside of the bag are for. The directions inside the bag don't show where they go and I looked through the owners manual and couldn't find info on it, I did browse the manual on my cell phone so I could have easily missed it.

There are a couple threads related to this. The general consensus is that they are used on the corners of the hardtop when removed, but that seems like a good guess since no one has showed pictures of them in use.

Also, did you find that the bag for the tops was super tight? Mine seems to be loosening up, but man, I thought I was gonna break the zipper.

It seemed tight to me also, I was scared I was going to rub the paint with the zipper

I was thinking the EXACT same thing. Took them off for the first time today. Seems pretty snug, and have been worried that the zipper might tear at the seams if I’m not careful.

Thanks for this thread. Took my panels off for the first time today and I was left scratching my head as to what these are for!

Nope, they’re for when you take off the roof. There are two points that these cover on the roof, not the Freedom panels. I posted a pick in another thread on this so search around the forum if you’re still in need of the true answer.

@BuiltRight you need to make a bracket to attach the Freedom Panels to the front-of-the-bed molle panel you are making!

Love pulling these off while running around...but tossing them in the back seat I'm starting to scratch them up. Would like to just secure in the bed...

I'm not sure how the blocks are supposed to attach to these tabs, but mine won't stay on.

I think the blocks are made to glue to the bottom of kids shoes so that they can be tall enough to ride the big boy rides at your local amusement park.
