I also wrap them in a harbor freight furniture pad i keep Under the seat and let them ride in the back seatI never used the bag until storing the panels in my garage after installing the Sunrider. Before the Sunrider, I just put the panels in the back seat without the bags, and wedging a rear floor mat in between the panels to prevent rubbing.
IDon't worry about that. You can't see the top from the driver's seat!
THANK YOU! This lets me know how it looks in all different positions and who doesn't like position changes and views? I like it...
Looks like an interesting product!https://eztrunk.net/shop/ols/products/2019-present-jt-ezflip-top
I have used this. Works great.
I can't see how it would secure like factory when closed with them together like that.......Looks like an interesting product!
Wow. beautiful countryside there.I never do that if going more than 20 minutes away.
I'm very thankful I leave the bag in the truck and if the panels are out, they are in the bag in the back of the truck.
We were 60 minutes away from home when this hit Iowa -

and we were in the middle of it before we got home. I will never leave home for very far without those panels.
There was no rain or storms in the forecast. You can have a perfect day in the weather forecast and get 5" of rain in an hour that same day.
My wife was on the phone while we were parked and she was talking to the owner of a store and the store owner told my wife park the vehicle somewhere and head for cover NOW! My wife said no, we're going home, we can beat this thing. I tossed the panels back on in record time and we hit the road.
Panels stay with me.
Glad you live where they can actually forecast whether or not it's going to rain. We've been leaving it at home..... with or without the tops in it. That's for local trips around town. If there's any chance of it raining - we don't take them off.
For longer traveling ...we'll put the bag in the truck bed.
We've only had the truck for a couple months, so we're still *figuring it out*.
Sunrider for Hardtop is one of the top 3 best mods for a JL/JT hands down.I don't.
Around 15 April, I put in my BestTop SunRunner, put the Freedom Panels in the bag and hang them up in the garage until around mid-October when I switch back. Then the bag is neatly rolled up and put on a shelf in the garage until spring.
