I have an intermittent irritating rattle that is coming from the adaptive cruise box that fits up against the windshield.
I was planning on removing the box and perhaps putting some thin gasket (or something similar) around the edge to dampen it and then reinstalling it.
It appears that to remove the box I need to do the following:
1) pull out (horizontally) on the face plate which seems to have some clips.
2) then remove the 4 plastic Phillips head screws (two on the sides and two on the bottom of the box).
After that it looks like the box should pull away.
Is there anything I am missing or anything I need to worry about?
Thanks for help,
Ron
