Re-engineering the brick (keyfob)

Hmmmm......I knicked mine a bit on the way out of the stock fob. Trying not to destroy either the fob or the chip! Should've just worried about the chip. I need to check it following your directions here and see if it is OK. I am currently not experiencing any issues.

Nah, we'll be in line with alternative solutions. Truth is, this is a passion project and something we are having a ton of fun with. I truly hope we'll be able to bring joy by miniatiarizing the fobs for many!

I will admit, I've come to this discussion just now, but I love the idea. The FOB is huge and because I didn't get auto start from the factory, I don't have that button available. I only have 3 buttons. The dealer told me his much each FOB costs, so I'm very interested. A linex type finish would look great. Anyway, I'm interested in the design and price. Thanks for everything you are doing.
