I arrived home and noticed my rear axle breather tube was hanging down. I am not sure how long it has been hanging down, but I drove approxiamtely 50 miles today. My question...is there any harm in driving with it hanging down. I found where it need to be re-attached. No sure how it came out. It seems like it would take something to mpull on it pretty strongly.

If you haven’t driven through any deep water, or puddles, I’d hang it back up where it goes. I would see if there’s a way to zip tie it back, to keep it from happening again. I’m not sure on the Jeeps, but, a lot of axle breathers have a one way valve, to keep from sucking things in. Maybe someone else can tell about that.

I have not driven through any water. Thankfully, it has been dry weather for a week. I will ziptie it tomorrow. Thanks for your response.
