For now, I think I'll move the dog cover from my wife's Cherokee and use that until Bartact has one. See example picture.

Oh that's nice, even has a couple convenient pockets for his electronic devices

I use a Harbor Fraught moving blanket in mine in the event one of the dogs has to take my vehicle instead of their own.

I posted this a few days ago under the "What did you do to your Gladiator today?" thread...

Wanted to get a back seat protector for my dog...this one from 4knines fits perfect and I tested with the top and doors off and it stays in-place great! Easy to access seat belts, center arm rest, and does 60/40 split. You can also get the version with the hammock but I didn’t. This is the REGULAR size - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UXWJPIS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Wow, that's a horde indeed. I have a Corgi and an ACD so I know the power of The Shed as well as The Bark. I'm never really sure if either of them would go into beast mode and shred an intruder but I know they will wake the dead with barking. Its always fun explaining that they are alert dogs not guard or attack dogs. "Farmer quick... come quick, quick NOW! leaves... leaves moved, might be wolves, maybe... go look!"

Living with a pack of dogs is quite an experience, I threatened to write a book about it, I just don't have time for it. The best I can say is they have pushed the spectrum of emotion from joy to sheer terror at times in a blink of an eye.

No one ever tested their mettle, but they would put up a fierce din to say the least. In their prime that was about 800 pounds of dogs. If nothing else they would keep somebody busy until I could respond. I've lost 4 of them since Thanksgiving, 2 in the last month. It's hard to watch them in decline knowing how they were in their prime, but they have led a fantastic existence (and we have too). In their demise, their parting gift to us is our freedom, we have devoted 11 years of our lives, and tens of thousands of dollars to them. When the sun ultimately sets on The Horde, we will begin splitting time between our places in Texas and Alaska.

That is what the Gladiator is for, to make the 4,000 mile commute, pulling an "ultra light" trailer and all the side trips we wish in between. If it is as fantastic and educational of a lifestyle as having 100 years worth of dogs packed into 10 years, I'll be a happy man.
