Rear Sway Bar Delete?

Anyone done this? When lifted the links get crazy long and off road seem vulnerable and may limit flex. Not sure how much impact a delete would have on handling characteristics on road. Thoughts?

On a leaf sprung vehicle, maybe. On coils? Nope, not for me. How are links going to get low enough to hit anything?
