Recovery straps and tow straps regarding heat

Random thought or question. I have a snatch strap and a tow strap in a plastic type tool box in the bed of my truck. I do have a tri fold bed cover as well that keeps direct light off the bed contents. Think the heat would weaken the straps to where they are unsafe to use?

No, if they aren't exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time, or exposed to direct flame, they will be fine.

You should also avoid exposure to any chemical, they can eat away at the fibers in the straps.
