Hey [USER=17945]@JeepCares why is it that Jeep wont give me a loaner or a rental, and when I call Mopar I get a very confontational lady who says that "'we dont pay for rentals I am only going offer a possible reimbursement" because I am getting warranty work and the recall on my diesel. But if I had said only warranty then you they would pay for the rental? Also why is it that it takes 24 hours for a supervisor/manager to call me back even though "they are in a meeting for the next 30 mins"

Rant over for now I guess.

I was promised, twice, that they'd "call on Wednesday with updates" and that sort of thing. No calls. So I contact them - no response. Each time I tried to bring it up with them, I got a "it's been assigned to a case manager, they will be in contact no need to contact us these other ways" response.
Yeah, obviously it IS necessary to contact them those other ways - but it still didn't do any good other than to get back a "your case manger will be calling you" - and no call.

Still waiting on that phone call from the supervisor. On another note Jeep is back, recall is done. But aux battery is still charging and my start stop not working. Although the service manager said that nothing is wrong with it/passed the test. And that its related to the software update that was needed.
So how long should I keep driving the jeep to get it charged before I go back in and complain about it?

If you have a good AGM battery charger:
Disconnect the IBS from the main battery negative. Take the negative cables apart.
One at a time, charge the aux battery and the main battery with the IBS off and set to the side.
This will reset it.
Once a battery is charged, move to the other, leave things disconnected.
After a couple of hours, check the voltage of the first battery that was charged - if left disconnected it should still read over 12.7 volts, likely 12.8 if it's really good - maybe more.
When the final battery is charged, do the same - leave it disconnected and check the voltage after it has sat for a while.
Batteries charged and disconnected should read at least 12.7 volts and should hold that for hours.
If things look ok, put it all back together.
The batteries will be fully charged and the IBS will be reset, a clean start-over.
It may take a couple of drive and sleep cycles for the IBS to learn the battery health and state of charge and so on to allow ESS to work again so don't panic if on the first drive it doesn't seem right.
If you still have problems - you likely have battery problems if they charged ok and held the voltage for a while disconnected.

About as long as you already have. Seriously, take it in tell them it's still not right. And when they tell you (because they will) to just drive it and everything will clear, tell them to throw it on their charger and give it back to you when everything is working properly.

It's halfassery at best!!! I had my dealership (the actual good one) do an oil change and tire rotation and when I started it up I had a low TPMS alarm for the spare tire that had been installed because they didn't even bother to check the air pressure. Right back inside I went. I even told my service advisor "You guys spent more time putting a plastic cover and floor mat paper in than you did just verifying that your work was done correctly". Bottom line is "Caveat Emptor". Your diligence will always be more than theirs will but you have to hold them to their side of the agreement. They only behave this way because too many people allow them to get away with it.

I always have the opposite problem - I get it home and have to let about 4 or 5 psi out of each tire.

Yeah!!! That too. I suppose that was the ONE time they didn't press all the tires up to 40#....LOL
