I have a 2021 Gladiator Diesel and recently installed 37" tires. I have the ALFAOBD reprogramming set up and am having slight problems getting the programming correct. I got the size entered without problems, but the issue is getting the ABS system reset correctly. Currently my speedo is correct, but things like the cruise control, ESC, FCW are off line. I am either forgetting a step or? Does anyone have any tips on the full correct procedure for the gladiator using ALFAOBD? Thanks in advance for any assist.

Hey, thank you GussiMoto. That link was very informative in that it gave a step by step how to for the Gladiator which is the exact same procedure as my Ram. I did the same to my Ram with no problems, but seems like a glitch with the Gladiator in that when I go to do the ABS initialization the start bar never comes up highlighted to perform the function. I am contacting ALFAOBD to see what they think. However, the ABS settings do make a difference with things like ABS, Cruise Control, ESC and the others so if the ABS is not reset then there can be issues. (like the kind of issues I am now having)

I did my 22 JT a couple years ago. I cant say what happen to yours as mine worked perfect as it did on my daughters 19 JL also and a bunch of Rams in the past.

Interesting. I don't use that software, but I know with other options you only need to set tire size. That alone tells the system what size tire you have and that makes the speed, odometer, automatic transmission, ABS, and TCS, all work correctly.

I agree with GuzziMoto, ECRI and JSCAN both seem to take care of everything in one click. I suppose there may be times when one may wish to clear the other items for some reason, but unless you do this for a living it is of little use for those of us that have just a few things they want to take care of, like turning off the seatbelt warning bell, changing the tire pressure in the TPMS and of course tire and gear size.

Hello, Just thought I would update (not sure what happened, but hit the wrong key and everything I just wrote was deleted (crying)). I contacted ECRI and JSCAN and both responded quickly with positive comments. I was leaning towards ECRI, but I realized I had to buy both the OBD connector and a license for about $120. JSCAN app is a free download and you buy a license for $25. While there may be a minor diff, the choice was a no brainer. I had sent inquires out to support at both alfaobd.com and the US affiliate weekndgarage.com, but it has been two weeks with no response so I guess you can read whatever you wish into their customer service (I would like to think they both had a server failure 3k miles apart at the same time).

So I used JSCAN with the same results as ALFA meaning it did not solve my issue. Then I discovered that there is a TSB regarding just this thing (actually it was on the JSCAN website in their instructions). The TSB is dated October of 2025 and references pre 26 year models that when performing a tire size change causes all these symptoms. The TBS is rather confusing as it seems to indicate only certain 26 year models, when actually it covers several year models back. The TBS was updated in March 26 and so was the vin numbers covered under the TSB. TSB refers to these models needing an updated flash to what ever computer covers the ABS and related systems. According to the dealer my 2021 Glad is on the list. I will be taking it in tomorrow to have this flash done, (at my expense since it is out of warranty) and fingers crossed that it will cure my problem. I will let you all know soon.

Okay, so today I went to the dealer for the Flash per TSB 08-114-26. The result were that the indicated flash had already be done. However the DTC code of C006A-54 which indicates a problem with the ABS system and also DASH was recorded and there was a flash update for that and it was performed. It did or has seemed to cure my problem and all systems are operating as they should. I could not get the dealer to indicate what TSB indicated that particular flash should be done, only that it related to the particular code indicated above. If I discover more detailed info I will post it as I get it.
