Installed my RLD canopy on Friday. Now that is on, I think it's great- looks good and fits perfectly. That said, I wish that I had read all of the comments on this string prior to picking it up at UPS freight on Friday. Quite the adventure to unpack it in the parking lot, lift it on with my son and then realize that despite bringing every tool I thought I would need, I neglected to bring a drill which would have been really helpful. In case anyone was wondering, yes you can strap the canopy to the truck bed from the inside and then drive 2 hours with it without it ending up all over the highway. Anyway, once at home, I had it installed properly in about 20 minutes. Also, added a Prinsu rack which, with some more drilling, fits great.

Well, the tracking number I have from Adventure Mobile shows my top was off loaded finally in the US. Hoping it gets under way to me soon. Glad I have kept up on this thread so as to help installing it once it gets here.

I may be trading in my Gladiator ... which will leave me with a nice RLD canopy, cross bars, and side insert.
If anyone is interested in seeing one in person before they buy, i'm in San Mateo, CA.
Not sure what I would be selling it for yet but it would be available this month.

Mine was supposed to arrive at Adventure Ready mid August... then late August... now late September. So now I need to fabricate a bed rack for our new RTT for our 3 week road trip in September. Really dissapointed in how long these days are, I was really counting on the timeline. $%&# Covid!!!!!

I know how you feel, originally mine was supposed to be to here in late March. Here we are in August. I fabricated a rack for my Roof top tent for the summer. Hoping to get the top before mid September now when I have some camping planned. The Covid lock downs killed shipping.

I have the gen 2. Fit is perfect, didn't have to bend or drill anything on my truck.

I'm looking to get into a 2500 or 3500 Cummins. Will either order an RLD for it or go with an AT Habitat or Four Wheel campers Project M.

I'm home all day everyday, you're welcome to come by and take a look anytime.

Well, got my order in w/ Tom at Adventuremobile Inc. Black with Firecracker Red doors and the 50x60 platform rack.
Now to figure out the springs/coils for the rear, I already have the Rubicon suspension added, just not sure about the coils from the Rubicon vs potential weight back there.

I’m running the 3” RockKrawler triple rated springs in the back. Helps to keep it nice and level with a 2” lift in the front.

I was finally able to build my shelve in the back of the RLD. My power side is on the passenger side, I’ll install a RedArc BCDC1225D in the open space. On my roof rack I’m installing the 200W Renogy Solar kit. To better manage weight I’ll install the accessory deep cycle battery in the bed. The whole shelve can slide forward so you can access the void behind the fridge. I’m also looking at permanently mounting by compressor in the back now seeing that I have constant power in the back.
