Currie is no longer associated with Rock Jock for quite a while now. They split up and Rock Jock moved out.

Currie is absolutely associated with RockJock.

Look at their home page:

I'm not sure how often they update their website but Currie Enterprises is not associated with Rock Jock anymore.

Call them and ask. I did.

Jeep Gladiator Rock Jock Spring experience anyone ? 1764184451599-ln

The split happened in late-2019 and official launch of RockJock 4x4 was in 2020.

Ok, I may have misunderstood what you meant.

They are separate companies, but they are associated. They are sister companies.

I like to wish that Currie has better customer service.

We had a bad experience with RockJock refusing returns on a timing technicality, when they promised something would work but didn't.

Picked up the RockJock front sway bar for a TJ in the family that gets flat towed. It couldn't keep the TJ stabilized, and it swayed while towing. Tried all the tricks and settings that they recommended and by the time we were done "testing" all the suggestions, the return window passed and they refused to take a return.

Took quite a hit on the whole ordeal while buying different arms that had different settings just to go back to the OEM sway bar and QDs.

So in my mind/experience, I hate to see RockJock's reputation tied directly to Currie who holds such high praise in the community. I see them as entirely different companies because they are, and their service (in my experience) has been drastically different.

It's hard not to tie RockJock's reputation to Currie when it says "John Currie and family strive for you to have the best overall experience with our company from start to finish" on the RockJock home page.

There are updates on the home page dated Aug 2025, so it appears fairly up-to-date.

While founded by the same family, they manufacture and operate completely independently and in different locations.. So the quality and service you expect from one doesn't reflect the quality and service of another.

Isn't John still active in RockJock?

He designed most the RockJock parts. Did someone else come along and change materials and suppliers?

I get what you're suggesting but the suppliers for Currie Enterprises axle components were never the same suppliers for the suspension components. While things like milled components and cut tube might come from the same/similar manufacturing process, spring steel isn't one of those. The companies are separately staffed as well.

I know John has a cult-like following and anytime I mention having a less than stellar experience, someone always gets their feathers ruffled. This is just my strong opinion and you can have yours.

Just trying to understand your opinion on the quality difference between the 2 companies.

Those 2 companies sold the same suspension parts. If RockJock sold through the inventory from Currie and changed suppliers, I could understand how the quality could be different.

I mostly pointed to an issue with customer service, being unable to return the product.... after having bought the old style arms with more adjustments, having wheels balance checked, alignment verified, and going through all the troubleshooting that they requested.

It takes time to get those things done and the return window closed, no exceptions made for making a good effort.

The only product issue I had was swaying while flat towing with their sway bars which might not be a "quality" issue, but just using the product outside of the boundaries of what it's designed for, even though they said it should work.
