Roof rack (cross bar gutter mount) options

So I have had the MOPAR roof rack on order from Northridge for over a month. Thus far, there is no indication in sight of when the parts will be back in stock despite being available elsewhere. But, with discounts I paid only 195.

Are there any other options for a gutter mount cross bar rack for the same cost? I did see rhino but they wanted over $450 - talk about the big green weenie. I am not interested in spending that much for cross bars. This is for a very light weight application - maybe 40 pounds at the most. I have a feeling Im' just in a holding pattern but wanted to see what others have found.

If you’re looking cheap buy something off Amazon. Thule, Yakima, Rhino rack etc are all premium pricing.

I have these, only needed one as I have a back rack. My paddle board is 11'6" and I wanted front support. My wife's is 10'4". We travel towing the gladiator behind an RV from MD to FL... The boards were double stacked.... No problems at all.

Something to consider for gutter mounted racks are their dynamic load rating is usually garbage…. Having seen the fiberglass gutters ripped off a couple jeeps- drilling holes is a cringe but the only way to go…. Front runner and rhino rack are built well and last… have rubbed our pioneer rack on the JK several times on rocks ? they hold up.

Fortunately this is only to mount 2 solar panels so the weight rating, I think 88 pounds, should be plenty strong. I think the two panels weigh maybe 30 pounds combined at the most. Probably more like 20

Big props to @Northridge4x4 who hooked me up in finding another option and canceling the MOPAR order. A bit of a bummer not having the MOPAR option but I needed a quicker solution and time is starting to run out for getting all this together. As usual, Northridge has provided superb service. Highly recommended!
