Hey Guys! Sorry if this has been asked a million times, but it's all new to me. I am looking for a budget lift/leveling kit and looking at the Rough Country 2.5 one. I have an Overland with 35's on it now. I don't do any off-roading really, mainly just a daily driver. Also, from reading other posts, will probably order .75" spacers for the rear.

Here's my question: For the RC version, do I need to select a shock series (Premium N3), or not?

Thanks in advance!

Getting the paired shock or an extension is a good idea so you are not bottoming out the stock shocks with the new lift height. You won't get a lot of love on here for that kit because it's not going to be good offroad but it sounds like you know its more for show than go.

Thanks RodRecket...that makes sense.

Yea, wish I had some more money to spend on one, but being that I won't be doing anything offroad, figured this one may give me the look that I was going for. Trying to give a little more room for the 35s.

I am running an RC 2.5" front with the shock extensions, and a Daystar 3/4" rear, with 35's on a Rubicon. I switched out the Teraflex 1.5" up front when the winch and bumper dropped the front end by an inch or so.
I take it off road. So far no problems.
