RRT 19-063 Replace Inner Fender Guards

Does anyone know anything about this notice for the JT? I had my oil changed today and was informed that I needed to get this RRT taken care of at my dealership. Any info will be appreciated.

This was an oil change facility. They didn't have the details

I found out it is a dealership notification to replace the flimsy inner fender guards.

Went to the dealer today and they ordered the replacement inner fenders for me.

I shortened the passenger side inner fender yesterday. It started to rub at about 75mph and by the time I got off the highway the tire burned off the offending section and now it’s good to go.

Is this to say new builds should have the new liners? Or at least if it is a new build that started before this, the dealer would replace before delivery?

I wouldn't bet on this. They'll just sell 'em and hope they don't come back . . .
