Rubicon removing skid plate

There telling me that they have to remove the skid plate
Don’t know much about this

It is a rubicon. I removed the skid plate to save weight. But I’m still running the stock metal bumper. I just know they work together. So unless they design their bumper to work with the stock skid, it isn’t going to fit.

My Rockhard bumper covers the same area as the skid plate so yes, I removed it. Removed the bolts (4?) holding the skid plate on and off it comes.

Depends on which Rubicon bumper yours came with. The steel skid that came with my Rubicon's plastic bumper bolted right back under the Arcus bumper I installed. Plastic bumper vs. a Rubicon steel bumper where skid is bolted to the stock bumper.
