I recently purchased a rubicon PPOS front bumper with factory steel skid plate from someone here on the forum. I am trying to install these on a JT Sport S. The bumper installs just fine - fogs work - all is well there.
The skid plate is not working. I have reviewed these two threads trying to find answers:

I think the problem I am having is that the Sport and Overland trims don't have a small angled mount point right above the bottom of the frame rail where the steel skid plate mounting brackets are located. These angled mount points are standard on Rubicons, but missing on the others so I don't think there's any way to mount the JTR factory skid on a Sport S or Overland.
I'm hoping someone here might be able to confirm this, or point me in the right direction for getting this to work. Thank you!
