Rubicon with factory steel knuckles

My 21 rubicon ecodiesel has steel front knuckles. I thought that was a mojave thing?

Nothing to see here but a broken u-joint. Pulled the shaft and got back on the trail. Not sure why that pic got posted in this thread...

I read somewhere (I know, I know...) that the diesel comes with steel knuckles because of the added weight.
