A true powder coating will hold up. The OEM powder coat on aftermarket is a joke. Problem is that if you have an aftermarket bumper for instance, the powder coater will strip it to the bare metal, prep, and coat 3x. It adds $300 (and up) to the cost of your new bumper. What another poster said, once a year take a rattle can of flat black to the offending parts.
