Here are a couple more showing the front seats, the dash, the back seats, and the truck in morning light. It changes colors in different light. Sometimes it looks olive drab, sometimes forest green, and sometimes even almost black. I really love it.

How did you get a non red dash in your Rubicon?

Ugggg trying to order my Rubi but can't because the hard top headliner, hard bed cover and spray in bed liner are "on hold" !
I could in a pinch install the cover and headliner myself but I really don't want to bring my new truck to some shop for the spray in bed liner - If I can help it.

When did those holds start ? Mine just shipped last week with the spray in bed liner, and the headliner. Do you know what the hold on those parts are for?

My guy at the dealer can't complete the "configuration" special order sheet and get my order ( and deposit ) because of the lack of parts and some issue with the vendor the factory uses to do the spray in liner. So I'm told.

Honestly, go aftermarket for your bed liner. I have had plenty of rentals with the factory and it is nice, BUT most of the aftermarket options feel a bit "softer" or maybe "stickier" and are a bit thicker. I am SURE the factory one will hold up just fine, but having had work trucks with LineX I think I prefer those. I personally am going with Bullet Liner after talking with a bunch of my "truck" buddies. (I will note my dealer said they try to ALWAYS Bullet Line theirs vs. factory, they've got a good relationship with their local guy and like the options more.)

As far as the headliner, YES they are nice, BUT I made some custom ones out of some 1/2 inch aluminum backed foam and some upholstery fabric (and about 2 evenings of work) for my wife's JKU that are VERY nice... and cost like $80 plus my time.

All three of those things are better sourced aftermarket in terms of cost and quality.

If I install a pre made headliner kit do you have to remove the hard top to do it??

Besides Mopar who else has a good quality fold up hard top bed cover? ( I don't need steel ) Easy to remove all together is a good feature too for me.

I have the gator cover too, and just be aware that model does not fold all the way up. It folds to 1/3 size and if you want the entire bed free you have to take it off.

Taking it off is very easy, you just unscrew 4 of those quick release bolts (by hand) on the clamps.

Putting it back on is a bit more work. It fits well but there is not a lot of overlap so you have to be careful when you clamp it back down that everything lined up - or you'll have to do it over again.

Personally if I'm going to use the entire bed I don't want the cover in the way so that was not an issue for me. If you have to use the entire bed frequently, you may want to look at a roll up cover instead.

Okay.....that's it....after 3 days of drooling over the PC and 2 Jeep dealers.....I'm officially SOLD. I've come this far, I'm going for the Sarge Green Rubicon too and left the Sport S idea behind.

Two options I'm stuck on. Very. Hard. Choices:

1 - Rims.
I always like the Gladiator Rubicon upgraded rims..but....seeing the standard Rubicon rim on the Sarge Green looks SO good. Has more black / dark to it with a small accent of bright on the circumference.
But, still thinking about them "Cookie cutter" upgrade rims still.

2 - Seats.
The cloth in Rubicon is a nice bang for the buck, love the feel and embroidery too.
However, the black leather with the red stitching is sweet.
Then on the other hand, oh, that saddle leather! Its got that brown with Sarge green earthy Jeep feel to it all.

I couldn't put the deposit down today!
The brown leather is nice. I have it in my Gator Gladiator. But keep in mind that if you get black leather, the dash will be red.

By the way, how tall are you? Just trying to gauge the height of this truck. I'm going to put on 2.5" lift and 37s. Thinking that the kids and wifey might have a problem getting in without steps.
