Scale on Mapping, How to Change?

Does anybody know how to change the scale on the map? It is set to 300 feet. I can change it to further out but after a few minutes it goes back to 300 ft. I've looked through all the screens and do not see an option. What am I missing?

I don't think you can change the scale. It auto adjusts based on proximity to items around you, turning directions, distance to destination, terrain, and other factors. I used the built-in NAV a lot when I first got the truck. Now, I use Android Auto and Google Maps.
