Is there a way to make the outlet in the bed stay on when the truck is off? I use a fridge there and it auto turns off if battery starts to go, so I’d love to keep it on when truck is turned off.

Thank you

If the truck is not running you'd be running straight off of truck battery and it would drain the battery rather quickly.
With truck running the inverter is working off the alternator.

My fridge has auto cut off and my father has the same truck on his Ram on a perma switch and has had no issue running it. It is very low draw.

There are battery units available that plug into the outlet that the refrigerator is connected to. When the engine is running, it charges the battery and powers the fridge. When the engine is off, the battery pack powers the fridge.

This^

I daisy chain my Jackery to my ARB fridge with Bed Outlet > Jackery > Fridge.

This setp allows the fridge to basically draw from the vehicle while on and then when parked the fridge continues to draw from the Jackery. Next step will be to install solar on the RTT so it will then be Solar > Jackery > Fridge

What model Jackery do you use?
The JK’s have a simple fuse you can move. I was hopeful there was similar option lol

Jackery 500 with an ARB Zero 73quart dual zone. Fridge draws about 73W on normal mode and about 83W in boost mode, having both fridge and freezer setups in 100+ AZ weather. Once it's at temp it'll do about 54W to maintain.

With the fridge off and the AC power always on, you will kill your battery eventually because the AC inverter draws some current even if there is nothing plugged into it. The DC to AC conversion is not very friendly and powering just a 120 volt 100 watt light bulb will draw a good 10 amps from the battery. If you use the full 400 watts available from the AC inverter you will be drawing nearly 40 amps from the battery.

Have you had any issue with the heat from the bed running the Jackery?

the specs say up to 104 degree heat, but I do live in FL lol so my bed could be pushing that at times.
