Wow. That is hard to stomach. Having carplay/android auto was the sole reason I wanted the 7" upgrade. If I couldn't use it I would be pretty salty. Hopefully FCA makes it right soon. I wonder if @JeepCares has any insight on a forthcoming update?
Hi,I will say that I did clear the cache and delete the data within the android app on my Note9 and everything worked fine the last time I used it so perhaps that made a difference IDK. Will see. But with my luck it will decide to glitch on the interstate when I cant shut the truck off to reset it. There already aftermarket options but they are pricey. I just want to be able to use my maps and stream music.
Sorry to hear this. If it would be of interest, we would be happy to have this documented in a case for you. As of right now, I'm unaware of an update timeline. I would recommend checking our website for all software updates. Please send us a private message if you're interested in opening a case.
