Seat strap question

JTRUBI posted a picture of an Overland model with fabric seats today. I’ve also seen the strap on leather seat versions. I have it circled in red in this picture. Can someone please advise what this strap does? Thanks.

Thanks. I wonder if it reclines forward on a Gladiator like shown in the attached picture. And FYI the reason I am asking is because it’s difficult in a normal Sport Wrangler to reach back to manually unlock the back door. The front seat is in the way. Has anyone tried the seat recliner on a Gladiator? Love to know.

Yup I tried it and it doesn’t recline that much. That’s only on the two door Wranglers that the seat moves that much.

Honestly for wht the cost difference will be between a Sport and Sport S id go with the Sport S if I was you for the creature comforts and power locks and windows.
