When I put my 2021 jeep gladiator mojave into select speed control, it makes grunting sounds all the way up the hill. Jeep dealer says that is normal breaking sounds. What the hell?????!!! Anyone else experience the same?

That's the brakes controlling the speed to what you selected. Scary only the fist time you hit the button.

Throttle by wire meet dynamic speed control. Noises happen.

Also, sky is blue, fire hot and water wet.

Jeep copied the sounds Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro's make when using Crawl Control.

It's a spectacular system, but how often do you have to use it?

All the time for off road rookies. It demonstrates what your Jeep can do, then you can work on your technique with the button off.

ABS controlling the brakes to control speed and stability/traction control (ESC used the ABS). Apparently no Jeep owner has hit the brakes hard on ice or snow or wet road and heard that chattering sound before.

The instinct is to mash the the throttle off road. Don't. Slow is good. That button shows you how it's done, then you learn how to do it yourself.
