So when I bought my gladiator I purchased it in another town since they had what I wanted. Fast forward a year later and I go to my local dealer to get an oil change and they say my Jeep was just serviced in July I look at the guy ? and he also says your Jeep has 23,000 miles which I only have 10,800. My local dealer can’t fix it and now I have to deal with the original dealer to get this straightened out.
So now 2 issues Jeep thinks my truck has 23,000 and I lost a Jeep wave oil and tire rotation

I can't even get in for my service. I call and they won't let me book saying they're booked up, but to bring it in. I bring it in and they say 2-3 hours because they're busy in the morning. But on the phone they said they were busier in the afternoons. I guess they'll say anything to not fulfill what should be built into the price.

The service manager of the dealership I bought the jeep from called me back he’s not sure what to do he’s been in this business for 20+ years and has never had this happen he did verify though that they probably just fat fingered it and put in one digit off on the vin because they did sell the exact same Vin numbers three before me and three after me.

I just let him know my concerns are I lost an oil change and a tire rotation and now jeep thinks I have 23,000 miles on my jeep when I only have 10,000 and he’ll get back to me in a few days once he figures it out

IMO he did you a favor, so many dealer service horror stories, either do the oil change and tire rotation yourself or take it to some place you know will do it right.

if I wouldn’t of went to the dealer for the oil change I wouldn’t have known that somebody used one of mine and now could possibly have shortened my warranty.

My dealer does fine with oil changes so I don’t worry about that

So the service manager called supposedly it is fixed but it might take a few days to show up in the system and jeep wave has also called and will call me back to make sure everything is fixed
