Anyone have recommendations for a nervous dog in the car while off-roading? My dog lila isnā€™t the biggest fan of the car, but usually falls asleep once we get over 25 mphā€¦ obviously not happening with my non-Mojave suspension off road šŸ˜‚. We had to cut a camping trip short because she couldnā€™t handle the ride between campsites, and Iā€™m afraid to try again with her. Iā€™ve got a ā€œthunder jacketā€ compression vest that works great during storms, but doesnā€™t seem to help in the car. We got her some puppy-Xanax when we moved across country, but I canā€™t stand doing that to her, any non-medicinal options would be greatly appreciated! Pictures for attention and because sheā€™s such a good girl.

Charlie bears and positive association with tripping. My corgi can get a wee fussy as well and I put a bed in the rear footwell for her, or the front if there is no front seater.

Positive association, reinforcement and plenty of pee and water breaks to make it feel less like a death march.
