Mine may be too dark, and I just had it redone today, but..

I went %40 windshield and then %5 on everything else.

It wasn't too bad, more the rain storms.

Got a Raptor R and did 50% on the windshield instead of 40% tint, still love it.

Ceramic tint done yesterday. Had the do the fronts and top of the windshield to match the rear.......almost dead on.

Thanks for posting an interior photo. I kind of like the strip. I'm contemplating whether I should do the 6-in strip on the windshield. Do you like it? Pros and cons?

Here's mine. 5% back half on top of the factory tint, 20% front windows and 20% 6-in strip above the windshield

He said that’s limo tint (5%) over the factory 20%. That’s crazy dark. I had that on my old Blazer yrs ago and you could put a flashlight up to it and it would barely shine through.

I’ve played around with a bunch of different tint setups too, including 20% on all the windows and a lighter strip on the windshield for glare. It definitely helps block heat and makes the interior feel more private, which I really like, but sometimes I wish I went just a touch lighter so night driving isn’t such a struggle. Matching everything is satisfying though, looks clean and consistent from the outside. I’ve recently been eyeing some non-tint options like smart glass since you can switch from clear to private with the flip of a switch. Would love that level of control, especially for controlling heat and privacy during different times of the day.
