Getting these in tomorrow what was such a nightmare about the install? any tips?Rough Country DS2. Install was a nightmare but overall I like them. If I had to do it over again I probably would have gone with the other RC steps that are contoured.
Where did you get them?I went with the MORE so I could keep the rock rail. Very happy with them.
I wish I had some tips for you but it's been a while since I installed those. The main thing I remember was that the brackets were 4 different sizes and the instructions didn't really indicate where to use each specific one so there was a lot of just trying stuff and re-trying when it didn't line up correctly. I just installed the RSE step sliders and they took about 1/2 as long.

Lift height mostly. I love the automatic steps and with the 6.5" lift my family would not have been able to get in the truck without them.

Just placed an order on these yesterday, can't wait to get them!I really like my Rockhard4x4 angled down sliders. They don’t stick out too far but still work great as a step. My wife and kid use them all the time. Plus they are built very solid
