I'm confused. I want this bumper but on the website they're are multiple questions asking if ends can be removed so it's stubby and all the answers are no. Did they change design or something?

I don 't lend too much credence in what they say about this product. I purchased it about a year ago and as you can see it can be converted to a stubby bumper.
