Hey everyone

just washed my jeep today. Noticed these spots on the mirror. I know the mirrors are heated. Still under warranty so I will address when I take it in. Any ideas?

Looks like it’s all over the back too.
I had the truck washed at a car wash. I will try and clean when I’m home and update.

Looks like paint overspray which makes no sense unless someone was using a spray can nearby.

Update: went home used glass cleaner and just kept going over it a few times. Almost like polishing the glass.
It’s coming off. Whew. I was worried. No idea what it was. Possibly some kind of cleaning cleaning product that was used at the car wash may be on another car. I’m not sure. But regardless it’s coming off, it’s also coming off the back glass

The thing is you know it's not just the glass that got this crap on it. The body must have it all over the drivers side of the vehicle---it's just much harder to see.

If you can feel or see it with a magnifying glass on the paint I'd grab a clay bar or synthetic mitt that works like clay and use a product like speed shine to get that crap off asap

Agreed. Plus, it will be hard to see on your lighter paint. If the "stuff" came off the glass, it should come off the paint too. A good cleaner wax should do the trick, but using a clay bar might be even better. I clay bar my truck at least twice a year to really get the road junk off.
