DRL and Side Marker Problem.

Putting this out there after searching the Forum and the Innerweb.

I noticed the other day that my DRL and side markers lights weren't turned on when I have my headlights on.

I did a bunch of testing and what was a common pattern was, I turn on the headlights and the DLR/Markers are working fine.

Once I put on the turn signal, the DRL on the side with the blinker would turn off, as designed, but after the blinker is cancelled, the DLR/Side Marker wouldn't come back on.

The DRL/Markers will stay off until I restart the Jeep. Once I restart everything fine, and will stay fine until I turn on the blinker.

During the day driving, everything works fine. DRL are on and come back on after the turn signal is cancelled.

I checked all my settings, and everything appeared to be correct.

Looking to see if anyone else has had this issue and found the problem.

I have no real technical basis on this fix, this is a new one for me. But I’d take the wiring diagram for hooking up those parts and check the associated ground connections for coming loose, since you have so many ground related errors

I do think it's a bad ground. It's just strange that a vehicle with 12K miles would have an issue with something as basic as a ground. I'm looking for a diagram that shows where the ground for the side markers is located on the body or frame.

I called my local dealership and they said I'd have to leave it for a few days. So I'm going to try and find a solution before taking it in.
