I have been covering and removing chrome and putting my hard earned dollars into making my rig look good. So today I walked up to "Griffin" from the front. I had left the sunvisor down and I said to myself , what are those silly looking yellow and white safety stickers on the back of the sunvisor?!?! I did a quick search and other than buying a sunvisor cover, I thought that there are probably others on this cool site that have done something that would point me in the right direction. Secondly I'm wondering if this just a Canadian safety/law prerequisite. Any ideas, tips or tricks you guys have would be appreciated.

Those stickers have always kind of annoyed me. You guys are not the only ones that have those stupid things..

I was actually thinking about if I wanted to bother trying to get rid of them somehow, but I'm not sure what a good idea would be yet.

I did a quick google search and people are mention using acetone and alcohols , even hair dryers. I dont want to mess up the "Pleather" and/or leave a glue residue.

I saw somewhere a couple years back where a person made a black vinyl "decal" to put over them. Left a black rectangle on the visor, but that was better than the warnings. Just food for thought...

Maybe that's a good matching paint for the hardtop also , I'm painting the white when it warms up.

Nailed it !!! Hair dryer !! A little heat after to put the "Pleather" back into shape, and a rub to stick it back to the glue if there is any under there. Gladiator and 4xe completed in half an hour !! ( 10 or so warm up passes, hairdryer on max heat and fan )
