Wanted to share this here in case it saves anyone else some time and headache.
I wanted to mount a Chase light on my roll bar (Rear facing light bar with turn and stop signals) and I like to avoid tapping into factory harnesses whenever possible. I used a Curt 55384 USCAR Y Harness that goes in between the factory harness and the USCAR connector on the rear bumper, and creates an additional Flat 4 PIN output. Then, I used a Curt 56196 2-To-3 Converter to separate the turn and brake signal outputs.
The assembled harness was a plug and play solution that gave me outputs for Brake, Left Turn, Right Turn, and Ground that I could use for my chase light. This seemed to be the easiest and quickest way to accomplish this.
Below Ive shared a snap of the wiring setup and the assembled harness. Id like to note that the Curt 56196 2-to-3 does not have a ground ouput, so you will need to setup a Y junction on the ground wire in between the 4pin output and the Curt 56196 input. This is the sleeved wire that is overlaid upon the Curt box in the photo.
