So only received a year on this and mine expired in 2022, but I did not renew. too expensive. Received an email today for a year of remote functions for $150. / year. Is this a good deal? I don't think so. I have a Jaguar e-pace and after 5 years I can still use the remote functions on that car and the Jeep was more expensive new.

Anyone received any good deals?

I never saw the value of it and let it go when the trials expired.
MAYBE if I worked in an office building where it snowed a lot and needed to warm up and thaw out before clocking out or something like that...
I left XM years ago when they brought in the washed up has been DJ's from MTV, raised the prices to pay them to talk instead of playing music.

I waited till the last day of my free XM and renewed. They offered a good deal dropping from $25/mo to $6/mo. Virtually no radio stations here so it's that or putting my phone on repeat.

As for Guardian - I think mine is also $150/yr and opted to keep it for the emergency crash response and potential aid in vehicle recovery. It's probably wasted money, but sometimes I am in the office which is too far to do a key fob remote start, and it's nice to have the heated seats warmed up when its -20 outside....

I've been in a spot where the locate vehicle has been a huge help, and also find it handy when too far away for the fob to work for locking or starting or whatever.
I don't know why people ask if it's worth it - "worth" is a personal, individual thing.
To us, yes, absolutely.
To others - they'll say no.
So you alone have to determine worth or value to you.
You know what it can and can't do, how it works, and what it costs - so you have to decide, just like you were deciding to spend the money on a Gladiator - was it worth it?
To some - they'd say no. Others would say yes. you bought a Gladiator so it's worth it to you.

but IMO its an overpriced key fob. A digital key would be cool like the tesla, ford uses that too.

When we got teh Mach-E it didn't even come with a key. You can program a door code that will let you drive the vehicle. Took the goofy salesman longer to help set that up than teh paperwork did LOL

Not worth it to me. I did it for a year on my Grand Cherokee and found myself just not using any of the remote functions, only used the voice to text send and that was somewhat cumbersome to use.

I let it go and was surprised that Jeep/Sirius didn't nag or even remind me that it expired. As I bought my JT used, it didn't have Guardian activated and I leave it that way.

As others have said, it's a personal choice to purchase a subscription. You might be a regular user of the features and if so, it's worth it.
