Starting to smell the factory clutch (2020), what is the consensus for the goodest clutch kit out there? Don’t really want the Jeep factory replacement (when/if available) as they’ve proven they don’t know how to make a clutch anymore. Did searches for this but couldn’t find nuthin’. Probably all subjective anyway.

Everyone seems to like the center force. But southbend has a kit too. I'm sure either is better than what we're stuck with.

That being said, my wife has the replacement clutch in her 2018, and it feels really, really good

But I don't know when they'll get to us on the replacement list. Mine still says "parts not available." Unbelievable.

go find a 2024 wrangler manual and test drive it. feels a lot different from the current one. I'm giving the recall clutch a try and if i hate it going ACT after that.

I’ve got a 23 Mojave with 4,000 miles on it. Recall was done prior to me driving or purchasing it. The clutch feels like trash!
Not to mention was just out on the beach for a week and day 4 it was raining and the sand was very thick in the area. Clutch over heat came on followed almost immediately by service transmission which required a dealer clutch reset. ?
Unfortunate due to dealer being 70 miles and the jeep in limp mode….. trying to decide on the clutch I want. Thinking the ACT JP6 from what I’ve read so far.

hate to have to do this now but can’t afford to have issues in a couple months when back on the beach on vacation and fishing.
