So...Extended Warranty?

I'm finishing my purchase this week and wanted thoughts from others on extended warranty options and whether they're worth it on a Gladiator. I typically don't buy them on anything, but the two I've had on cars have paid for themselves several times over (oddly, when I haven't bought one the car hasn't needed one).

It's really just the electronics that usually go wrong and become a nightmare, but with the Gladiator I'm not sure what, if any, issues I should consider on this front.

I don't plan on modding a ton on the truck but I do plan on adding a bed cover and other irrelevant to a warranty things. If I hit some business goals and the tuners fix the 2022 Pentastar tuning issues I might someday supercharge this thing as the Mojave screams for it but I'm sure that would wreck any chance of warranty claim on the drivetrain. That said, that's a maybe and not anytime soon.

I know this is a contentious topic, but if certain problems are common (like the 8.4" screen or something like that) it might be worth it long-term. Thoughts?

$2095 for bumper to bumper up to 70k miles or 5 years. $100 deductible.

I bought a warranty from my dealership … for pdi and windshield replacement… they are now losing money left and right lol

My Gladiator has the Gorilla Glass windshield, but I don't know how much that matters. I got it 5% below invoice off the dealer lot so I don't really care, but that should help with the windshield in theory. That or just cost them more to fix it, whichever.

Just bought a Factory extended warranty for my Ecodiesel Gladiator Rubicon 8yr/125k miles with $100 deductible for $2,270.00. Was turned on to him from others on this forum. Tom is great to work with and will answer any questions you may have.

So far f&r drums/calipers /pads/rotors ,radio control unit ,left front turn signal housing
under warranty pretty sure that way over $2500

i was offered a free 8 year/100K warranty if i place my order through a specific dealership over their competitor that was closer to my house. so let them know you are considering buying your car across town and see if they will just throw it in for free or discounted to keep you there.

My rear dif just took a crap after 62k miles. Extended warranty covered the cost.
