CJs are cool though. I can’t fit in a CJ5 very well, but I’d love to have a CJ7 or CJ8

So if I understand this right it cost you $10k to get into another 2025, that buys a lot of upgrade parts. To each his own and it your money but I would have found a wrecked glad and stripped what you wanted out of it
same year, 6200 less miles, 9 months more warranty. gear swap, lift, tires and your approaching the $10k mark.
plus LED lighting, power/ heated leather, remote start, and a lot more that was missing on the Nighthawk
and all new.
if you would of opted in to finding a wadded Rubicon or Mojave, broke out the torches and tools, surgically removed the valuable bits and transplanted them into your Jeep, more power to you. not my thing.

A old work foreman I knew when I worked the railroad always brought his old Jeep CJ5 he had driven to work in it every day for work for 36yrs. 2 frames 2 body's 2 suspensions , 3 motor rebuilds . Same original manual 4 speed transmission and original front and rears. I always had to squeeze to get in it. We worked out of town and He always would insist on driving to dinner in it . You felt Every bump😂

That tiny door opening gets me too. I drove one around for a few days last fall.

Awesome find. If you think its deal, more power to you. Anvil is a great colour. If i had chosen anvil i was thinking about a personalized plate that says ACME.

Only difference to me is with strong crosswinds at freeway speeds, the buffeting is louder.
Don’t know how many times I went into alert mode in my head because of some weird feel then looked at the trees and said oh wind again. That stuff gets crazy sometimes!!! Worst was behind an 18- wheeler though. I guess I was right at the right distance to get into the crossover of his draft. That’s a real scary feeling.
