I don't do the RTT and prefer my ground tent with stove etc. I do want a soft cover I can roll up that keeps the rain and dust off my gear as much as possible. I've come to realize there may not be a bed cover on earth 100% waterproof so I'm not super worried there. A bed rack is still up in the air for me because I hunt a LOT and more times than not I stand up fully in the bed and pick up animals and don't want to hunch over when in the bed.

I've searched here and different reviews and every cover I've been mildly interested in has a similar complaint about the back corners folding up. Is there a soft cover where this isn't the case?

Forgot in my original post - is there a soft cover that does NOT connect down the side rail via velcro?

This cheapest cover available on Amazon is 95% water and dust proof, normal rain, snow, do not intrude. The car wash lets in a few drips.

it attaches down the side via Velcro to an aluminum extrusion.

I actually figured it would be good enough to keep groceries out of the weather in the short term, and now it's 2.5 years later and still working fine.

Also Velcro so I guess its out - but its the cheap Tyger T1 from Amazon. One year old now and looking good. Bed stays dry and clean. You'll get more water and dust from the tailgate to bed gap then anything, and a gasket for that is a separate project from any bed cover.

I have the MOPAR Roll Up on 2 Mojaves, ordered on the 21 from new and on the 23 bought used off FP mkt. No velco, so far no water in bed, 21 has bedrug. That is my $0.02 input. Here is the 21:

The Mopar roll up is expensive, but it is super nice.

I may spring for the Mopar cover once the heartburn settles from paying for this new bumper. LOL! At least with a JT I don't have to buy a rear bumper and I sold the front/rear bumpers off my JKU so I'm still about $72 ahead.

With a Wrangler once you go bigger on your tire you have to buy a bumper to accept a bigger tire. and a heavy duty hinge.

I'm glad I don't have to buy a new rear bumper for many reasons - main reason is those built in hitches are flimsy. I carry my ebike in a hitch mount bike carrier. I remove the battery and it's only 70# that way and still flexed. The OEM hitch receiver is MUCH stouter.

Nothing like driving from TN to WY to hunt and watching your $3000 ebike bounce the whole way.

Mine is a Trushield, not had a problem with the corners rolling up and it's easily removable when I pop me bed tent up and it fits in the back seat. Pretty waterproof, withstands me washing with a 1700psi electric pressure washer with a stubby hand gun and foam canon. And snap in lock zipper thingees on the sides instead of velcro.
Edit: it also "locks" with the tailgate lock.

I've got the cheap Rough Country on mine, it's Velcro and it does the job. Doesn't stop 100% of the water but I'm not complaining. Works for me.

I’ll give another vote for the OEM/Mopar. I’ve had them on 5 Gladiators. The rubber edges seal against the side rails pretty well. Never a problem and if you roll out the cover, then close the tailgate, it “sort of” locks the cover closed.

I have the Truxedo Low-Pro on mine with a Bedrug and I feel like it stays pretty dry in there. We’ve had some pretty good turd-floaters here recently and I can’t complain about that cover wetting the bed.

Truxedo x15. I own 2 on 2 trucks, will be putting a 3rd on our next truck here soon. It is velcro, but works very very well, looks great and is easy to use.

I have the factory Twill roll up cover. It mounts to the bulkhead, and its only other connection point is at the rear where it locks in. I even ordered my Sunrider for hard top in twill to match. It is not cheap, but cheaper than replacing the cheap ones every few years.
