That idea actually crossed my head. 3 hour drive to have a spare for when mine eventually wears out.

You may find you won't switch back. Course we don't really have brutally cold winters here in Houston. Even the last big freeze I never once found it uncomfortable in the JT with the soft top on.

Along the north east coast it can get into the 20-30s regularly during fall and winter. I rather like be snug after it warms up in the am haha

Does anyone have a part number for the snap straps that hold the rear window up when it’s rolled up? It maybe the snap size/strap length..i bought a soft top off a member and it was the only part I didn’t get

Haha Never mind was thinking of a different set of straps. I just take the rear window off its easy to put on and take off. So I just toss it behind the seat in the bag.

Everything I have read said don't use those since people have had issues in the past with soft tops when they do something like that. Other than storage it rolling it up would take longer than sliding that part in/out. getting the bottom in is such a PIA I wish they could make that easier.

I just bought a base nacho mojave with only auto tranny option. Wanted black hard top, dealer is gonna charge me same $2600 as if I bought from Mopar store. This was AFTER I was told he'd "get me a great deal" on one. I told them to shove it. I live in upstate NY, so if someone wanted to do a swap for my soft top (plus some $ on my end to make up difference), I'm down.

The best price I could find on a new one online was at BAM. I wanted it for a vacation trip coming up soon, so I wasn't willing to wait and didn't want to take the chance driving ~6 hours on a used one. (At the time this was the closest one I could find posted anywhere). I've ordered a couple things from this place now and they have all come quick and new in the box.

I ordered it last Monday and it was at my house that Friday. They had free shipping as well and since it comes freight, that was pretty good. My dealer wanted over $200 more for it. Here's a link

Just another option. If you can find a new one in the box near you that someone wants to sell that's going to be a significant savings over this one.

box is 44" widex14" hi and 5' long- I didn't load it but told not too heavy just bulky-Guesstimate is you might be tail heavy, not over gross but it won't fit!
