Just got back from a drive and my 2024 Gladiator did a software update when I pulled in the garage. When it had finished, I no longer had my HVAC display in degrees - just a bar graph of hot to cold. The buttons for the climate control no longer work on the dash, I must change in the display.
Very frustrating!

Hit that big volume control button below to the left and hold it in until the screen goes black. That will do a radio soft reset and should return most of your stuff back to normal. It may take 24 hours for everything to fully recover. Check you off road pages, and the adventure guide app if you have it. Those seem to be the most likely to be gone after an update.

Sounds like it is the same as the 2023 and prior with the Uconnect 4 system. Any update or long term loss of power to the radio/infotainment head unit goes back to a base default state and requires a deep sleep reboot. Doors locked and left for a few hours with overnight usually ideal and then it will reconfigure to your actual vehicle build options.

I don’t know, but that’s leaning more into electrical problems if it’s doing that.

I don't think so, that is more of a programming thing than electrical problems.

Electrical problems don't usually just go away on their own overnight.

Except what I actually stated has been the case time and time again. The board is littered with threads of people that have done radio swaps or battery changes with extensive disconnect times and complained of their radio/infotainment not working as previous. Deep sleep reboot fixed almost everybody's issue so there is some design strategy engineered in to it. It is pretty common across all FCA brands and not unique to Jeep.

That fixed it.
Thanks you!
